The China Mobile-bound Samsung Galaxy S III that we’ve seen a few weeks ago will be officially released on June 6. This is what ePrice reports, also revealing that the smartphone’s model number is GT-i9308. Like most mid- or high-end handsets launched by China Mobile, the Galaxy S III i9308 will have TD-SCDMA connectivity. The rest of its features don’t differ from what we can find on the European i9300, including a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD screen, TouchWiz UI 4.0,… Read more

We have a press image of the Orange Dublin, and we know it features HSDPA. Sadly, other specifications haven’t been provided. Our source tells us the handset will probably run Android 2.3 Gingerbread… Read more

But for the time being, none of them lets customers pre-order the handset. However, there is a place where you can pre-order it, and that’s Expansys Canada. While it doesn’t say when the S III will be in stock, Expansys is asking 744.99 Canadian dollars for the 16GB model, mentioning that “if you place a pre-order for this… Read more

At the end of last year, U.S. Cellular released its first Huawei smartphone, the Ascend II, offering it for free on contract. Apparently happy about the collaboration with the Chinese company, now U.S. Cellular is preparing the launch of a new Huawei handset — the C8820. While the Ascend II is stuck with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and is a modest offering, the new Huawei C8820 seems to bring more to the table. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and… Read more
It’s not the first time we’re hearing the Samsung Galaxy S III is going to be released by Verizon Wireless. And it makes a whole lot of sense for it to be offered by VZW, since it’s one of this year’s best Android smartphones. Naturally, Verizon will have its own customized version of the S III. Rumors have it that this version goes by the model number SGH-i535. Since the i535 has been benchmarked over at NenaMark just recently, we now know… Read more
