Samsung SGH-T999L. Is this T-Mobile’s Galaxy S III with LTE?
T-Mobile is the only major carrier in the US that doesn’t have an LTE network. Sure enough, it does offer 4G services, but they’re limited to HSPA+ 42Mbps. All this will change next year, when T-Mobile is going to launch LTE, obviously helped (financially) by its parent company, Deutsche Telekom. T-Mobile’s official goal is to roll-out its LTE network and cover roughly 100 million people by mid-2013. Thus, it could introduce quite a few LTE smartphones and tablets in the… Read more

AT&T is launching a new Android smartphone made by Sony: the Xperia TL.

That aside, the Xperia TL is quite capable of keeping your interested piqued if you’re in the market for high-end smartphones. Samsung Galaxy Note II US pricing unveiled
Announced for the US market last month, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is available there as of today, although only one carrier (T-Mobile) is selling it for now. If you want to buy the Note II from T-Mobile, you’ll have to pay $369.99 (after a $50 mail-in rebate). That’s a crazy price, we know. Anyhow, T-Mobile lets you choose the handset in either white, or blue, here.
Sprint will offer the Galaxy Note II tomorrow, October 25, for $299.99 on… Read more
Exclusive: LG Optimus Vu II images
Introduced in South Korea in the first quarter of the year, and announced for other markets last month, the LG Optimus Vu is certainly not your everyday smartphone. That’s because its 5-inch, 4:3 ratio display makes it a bit uncomfortable to hold. And although most reviewers (including those talking about Verizon’s version, called Intuition) criticized LG for the handset’s design, the South Korean company is getting ready to launch a new Optimus Vu with similar physical characteristics.
The new smartphone… Read more
Samsung Galaxy Note II will be launched by AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular
Samsung’s first Android 4.1 Jelly Bean device, the Galaxy Note II, will be released in the US soon — at about the same time with LG’s new Optimus G. Samsung has confirmed that the Note II would be offered by five US mobile carriers, the same that started selling the Galaxy S III several months ago: AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and US Cellular.
US Cellular is the only carrier to take pre-orders for the Note II. It asks $299.99… Read more

Koreans will be able to buy the smartphone starting next week, reportedly for 999,900 won. That means about $895, but… Read more
