HTC One brand revived with the HTC M7?
When HTC announced its Droid DNA / Butterfly Android smartphone, we thought the company was done with the “One” name, at least when it comes to high-end products. The One X — launched as the series’ flagship back in May 2012 — didn’t become the successful device it was meant to be, allowing Samsung to sell its Galaxy S III — released at the same time — in tens of millions of units. In November 2012, HTC introduced an upgraded… Read more
White HTC Butterfly available in the UK. Red version incoming
If you were looking for the HTC Butterfly in the UK, and didn’t find it, it’s because the smartphone is exclusively available there from just one retailer: Mobicity. At the moment, Mobicity is stocking only the white version of the Butterfly, asking £659.99 for it. No, this isn’t a typo — the retailer is really asking that much money for the handset. £659.99 means about 770 Euros, or $1,045, and it’s certainly one of the highest prices ever asked for… Read more

HTC Proto surfaces, should be announced soon
HTC hasn’t announced too many Android smartphones for the global market this year. We can count them on just one hand: HTC One X (with its XL variant), HTC One S, HTC One V, HTC Desire C, and the dual-SIM HTC Desire V. So it’s probably about time to see some new gear from the Taiwanese company. The Verge certainly agrees on this, having just unveiled the HTC Proto — an unannounced handset that might be officially presented pretty soon, likely… Read more
Android 4.0 ICS for Verizon’s HTC Rezound out now
Launched by Verizon in November last year, the HTC Rezound is getting its first major software update now. And of course we’re talking about Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich here. The update — 299MB, build number 3.14.605.12 710RD — also brings Sense UI 3.6 to the Rezound. This, however, doesn’t look too different from the previous version (Sense 3.5). But enough talking. Go and download ICS on your Rezound right now, or check Verizon’s website here in case you need… Read more
Sprint HTC Evo 3D and Evo Design 4G updated to Android 4.0 ICS
Great news for Sprint customers who are rocking an HTC Evo 3D, or an HTC Evo Design 4G. Both smartphones have received official updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The updates are out as of yesterday, and are done over the air. It’s a plain ICS upgrade for the Evo 3D, while the software package for the Evo Deign 4G also brings some fixes related to Sprint’s Mobile Hotspot, Exchange calendar sync, and “dialing 1 to allow voicemail access.”… Read more

HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE will be launched by Verizon in the coming weeks
Verizon Wireless has officially announced the third member of its Droid Incredible series: the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE.
