As of today, August 19, Sprint customers can buy the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE — not long after we told you the handset would be released soon. Sprint is asking $199.99 on contract for the new Photon, this way positioning it as top-of-the-line smartphone, next to the Samsung Galaxy S III 16GB and the HTC Evo 4G LTE. Verizon’s Motorola Droid 4 updated to Android 4.0 ICS

Verizon and Motorola have launched an official Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Motorola Droid 4. Available starting today, August 13, the update brings all the Android 4.0.4 goodies to the LTE smartphone, including a new launch bar, enhanced notifications, and multitasking. Sprint has officially unveiled a brand new Motorola smartphone: the Photon Q 4G LTE, which becomes the carrier’s first LTE handsets with international roaming capabilities and a full QWERTY keyboard.
