UPDATE: it turns out that this is in fact the MOTOROLA Motosmart Mix XT550. It’s been officially announced in China, and you can check out more about it here. For the moment, we don’t know if the XT560 is just a variation of the XT550, or a completely different phone. But we’ll let you know when we find out.
See the little Android smartphone above, which seems to take some design cues from Sprint’s Motorola Photon 4G? We’ve been told that this is the Motorola XT560, a relatively low-end handset that should be released in the near future in Europe and “not only.”
The existence of the Motorola XT560 has been confirmed by the FCC earlier this week. Still, since our tipster could not say where he got the image from, we can’t be 100% sure that what we’re seeing is indeed the XT560. It may be another new and unannounced Moto handset, although we have our reasons to doubt that.
Anyhow, when it launches, the Motorola XT560 will come with an HVGA display of unknown size, HSDPA 850 / 1900 MHz, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3 Megapixel rear camera, front facing camera, microSD card slot, and an 800MHz Qualcomm processor. Android 2.3 Gingerbread should be on board.
